In 2014 Bristol was announced as the UK’s first European Green Capital and was to be the host city in 2015; pioneering change for a healthier, happier city, promoting sustainability philosophy, and bringing green into the mainstream.
375 was appointed as the agency to create a brand for Bristol 2015 that could be used throughout the city by businesses and school children alike. A brand that could be used to inspire change and engage action.
Through an in-depth and rigorous development process, 375 created a brand and catalogue of assets that could be used by the people, community groups and businesses of Bristol. The logo and assets created were suitable for promoting fun and excitement throughout the city whilst also maintaining a level of formality and sophistication that businesses could use on their communication collateral.
The Bristol 2015 branding was used in a variety of ways throughout the city to promote its achievement and inspire the wider Bristol community; from a green train and bus wraps to a citywide billboard and poster campaign, with Bristol celebrities like Shaun the Sheep getting behind the brand.
More intimate and direct marketing collateral was developed to engage schools, community groups and businesses to get involved and demonstrate how they will be making small changes towards a big difference throughout 2015 and beyond.
