We were briefed to create a high value idea for Plantronics’ European CS70 headset campaign, across experiential events, e-strategy, advertising and guerrilla marketing; to generate leads for new trials and ultimately increase sales.
We went beyond a campaign to create a movement, built around the concept of ‘a better way’. We wanted to inspire a call to action to change behaviours and habits, from the shackles of the corded phones to the freedom of the headsets, creating a liberation of movement in the office.
We created a playful, fun and informative illustrated guide to hand out and accompany Plantronics products, designed to demonstrate the benefits of using a hands free headset. The benefits surrounded the freedom of hands free communication, which manifested in a series of ironic doodle illustrations of inventions to make speaking on the telephone more private and mobile in the office.
To bring our high value idea to life we created a live event which toured business centres around Europe, raising awareness of the limitations of corded phones and encouraging trials of Plantronics products. The touring event was supported by an outdoor media campaign using an illustrative approach with simple messaging that quickly communicated our ‘a better way’ concept of freedom of movement around the office.
